Avalon Custom Woodworking typically works with architects and designers, although we have worked directly with clients when it was required. Using the designer’s conceptual and design drawings, Avalon creates comprehensive shop drawings of the project, engineering the cabinetry and millwork to bring the design vision into reality.

At the initial stage of the process, we work closely with the designers to work out the details of the job.  For the selection of materials and finishes, Avalon provides samples of various types of wood species and finishes, which is critical for the client and architect when choosing the right look for the job.  Avalon has the expertise to advise the designer which finishes would be appropriate for their particular project.

Avalon has a fully equipped shop where we do the fabrication, so the client can be assured of receiving the highest quality craftsmanship and oversight.  We also utilize a network of related tradesmen to create specialty items as necessary, whether the project calls for custom made metal parts, or tempered or specialty glass.

Avalon can provide installation services, or we are happy to liaison with a general contractor’s installation crew to bring the project to fruition.
